The Romford Film Festival is run by a team of passionate 'film-loving' volunteers, where our main aim is simple. To give film makers the chance to show their films on a big screen to a public audience, and film lovers the chance to see the best quality new and independent film from across the world.
We are also committed to developing our local film scene and its entrepreneurship; therefore, every year we provide festival work experience to local film students, encourage submission of local film makers, host educational events and provide networking opportunities with industry names.
We have a popular festival that grows year on year - however we need crucial support to ensure growth and keep our festival aglow.

2024 will see the globally acclaimed 'Romford Film Festival' hit London's Premiere Cinema Screen's for its eigth consecutive year. Celebrating twp screen with more than 150 international, multi-genre short and feature films.

A Festival of Firsts
ButtonConsecutive, means consecutive and in 2020, our 'resilient' team hosted the first post-pandemic IRL film festival in the UK.

Sold Out Screens
ButtonSince our inception in 2017 we have had thousands of individual ticket sales with loads of sold out screenings of cult locally made films such as 'Welcome To Essex', as well as internationally made
films such as 'Puppet Killer' and 'After Class'. In 2022 we sold over 1,500
individual tickets, 67 VIP passes and handed out 110 film maker passes. Our films are first class and star studded features have been
adorned by fantastic indie stars such as Penn Badgley, Luke Goss,
Vinnie Jones and Susan Sarandon.

Award Winning Films
Button12 awards are given annually, in our red-carpet ceremony that
seats a captive audience of over 300 VIPs, including consulates,
celebrities and international film makers from across the world.

IMDB Festival Press
ButtonAs an IMDB approved festival, we are popular with both local
and international press. In previous years we have been visited
by the BBC World service, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan national
news stations and BBC Turkey, we have a plethora of reviewing
sites and media agencies that share our releases and interview
in person, gaining thousands of views and listeners.
