Team Ch..Ch..Ch..Changes

Each year something at Romford changes and this year it's in our interviewing panel, unfortunately for our May festival Kevin Haldon from Nerdly is having to bow out for  this instalment. Kevin has begun a new career outside of the pod/vodcast world and that means he has to miss this May's festival. But fear not he'll be back for both 2025's fests.

So when we heard that Kevin was having to give it a miss, there was one easy choice of whom to approach to fill the void...

It could only be Ayvianna Snow,  we met Ayvianna during the first Romford Horror Festival when she starred in the movie Wyvern Hill (AKA The Hollow) since then she's been to every Romford Film Festival, last year and this year also carrying out judging responsibilities. In addition to being a model and actress she is a great spokesperson and Chair of Equity's North London branch.

Ayvianna will be joining Peter and Spencer carrying out the in-screen interviews and will also be holding VR  panels  in screen 6, creating exclusive content for film fans in the Metaverse.

We are thrilled to have Ayvianna join the team in a more official "day to day running capacity" and hope she'll become a permanent edition on future sessions, even after Kevin returns, because as the festival grows we need more people to share the interviewing responsibilities.

For those wanting a little Nerdly goodness, Kevin will be connecting to our filmmakers and running online sessions on the build up and during the festival.
